Duties

  • Review loan documents, financial records, and demand letters to verify conditions precedent to foreclosure

  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence

  • Represent clients in court hearings and liaise with opposing counsel

  • Maintain accurate and timely records in internal systems regarding case updates and recommendations

  • Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws governing foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections

  • Handle confidential client and case information with professionalism and discretion

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, volume-driven environment

  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Prior experience in foreclosure or title law (preferred)

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active Texas Bar membership (required)

Skills

  • Proficiency in computer applications and general office tools

  • Strong legal research and analytical abilities

  • Commitment to producing high-quality, accurate legal work

  • Knowledge of quality assurance or quality control principles (preferred)
