Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced trial attorney to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will be eager to manage their own cases and gain trial experience, contributing to the firm's reputation for ethical and firm client representation.

Duties

• Mentor associates in trial preparation and execution.
• Take 6 to 8 cases per year to trial, aiming for jury verdicts.
• Draft Motion In Limine and other pre-trial motions.
• Engage in post-trial motion drafting and argument.
• Handle litigation associate responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Nevada State Bar or other state licensure is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat DC.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• California State Bar license.

Skills

• Experience in personal injury trial law.
• Employment law experience is a plus.
• Federal Court trial experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
