Entertainment Associate

The candidate's duties include: Negotiate deal terms for the acquisition of intellectual property and the engagement of writers, directors, producers, and actors with minimal partner supervision. Draft and negotiate all types of contracts in the film and television industries, including attachment agreements, option purchase agreements, assignment agreements, collaboration agreements, writer agreements, director agreements, producer agreements, co-production agreements, production services agreements, and performer agreements. Advise clients in connection with intellectual property issues and the customary parameters of deal terms in the film and television industries. Conduct due diligence, including chain of title review. Interface with the legal and business affairs teams of clients. Ability to work independently. Must have minimum of 4 years of dedicated Entertainment law experience in film and/or TV is required. Should have Membership in the California or New York Bar.
