Temporary Legal Assistant
The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the promulgation of regulations including: formatting and proofreading regulations; coordinating with divisions to ensure all documents are received; tracking regulations and deadlines; drafting memos and notices; scheduling and conducting public hearings; and compiling regulation packets. Ensuring office and statutory time frames are being met. Should have experience in performing secretarial support work, involving the use of personal computers, office equipment, and associated software such as word processing, spreadsheet, data management, graphic/presentation, and web/internet applications. Should preferably have 3+ years of experience performing office support functions including experience in: drafting of correspondence and memos; tracking of deadlines; web/internet applications; Microsoft Office; and communicating with clients, staff, and members of the public.
