A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with experience in bankruptcy law to join their team in Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will have experience representing secured creditors in consumer Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases. Candidates should be located in or near Alpharetta, GA, or within a commutable distance.

Duties

• Manage routine bankruptcy matters.
• Draft and review pleadings and claims.
• Attend scheduled hearings.
• Respond to bankruptcy inquiries.
• Review client filings.
• Monitor electronic filings (ECFs).
• Resolve routine bankruptcy issues.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the Court.

Requirements

• Knowledge of bankruptcy rules and creditor rights laws.
• Computer literacy and professionalism.
• Strong keyboard skills and attention to detail.
• Effective time management and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Georgia.
• Admitted to District and/or Bankruptcy Courts in Georgia.
