Attorney needed for Meridian office

Profile

A law firm in Meridian is seeking an Attorney with extensive experience in all phases of litigation, including defense strategy creation, client communication, investigation, depositions, motion practice, and trial management. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, strong research abilities, and outstanding written and oral communication skills. Admittance to the State of Idaho Bar is required, along with mediation, arbitration, and trial experience.

Duties:

• Experience in all phases of litigation, including creating defense strategy, client communication, conducting investigations, depositions, motion practice, trials, and appellate activity.
• Drafting initial reports, interim reports, pre-trial reports, trial documents, and appellate briefs.
• Drafting discovery requests and responses, as well as motions related to discovery.
• Regularly attending court appearances.
• Taking and defending depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses.
• Drafting motions for summary judgment.
• Proactively managing the docket.
• Providing excellent customer service and communication with clients.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in insurance defense, specifically in nursing home and other senior care defense.
• Admittance to practice in the State of Idaho.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in the State of Idaho.
