Job Description

This position is responsible for transport and delivery of freight on time in a professional manner by driving diesel powered tractor/trailer combinations short and long distances, while complying with DOT rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.Must have Class A and must meet DOT requirements and certifications. Must have a safe driving record. Must have at least 3 good previous work recommendations. General knowledge of location of Location of Tyson grower farms. Must be able to read and follow map directions. Must be able to do basic math, read and complete company forms. Must have a minimum of 1 year OTR experience with valid CDL. Must have experience with top-heavy equipment, live haul/feed truck or log truck.
