Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in environmental and energy matters before administrative bodies and in court.
• Handle permitting, regulatory compliance, diligence, and transactional matters related to the energy and environmental sectors.
• Conducted litigation, including depositions, motion practice, court appearances, and electronic discovery.
• Provide clients with legal advice and strategic environmental and energy issues guidance.
• Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, briefs, and motions.
• Research and analyze legal issues related to environmental and energy law.
• Manage case files and coordinate with clients and other stakeholders.
• Stay updated on changes in environmental and energy regulations and legislation.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience representing clients in environmental and energy matters.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Proven experience in litigation, including handling depositions, motion practice, and court appearances.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities efficiently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the bar in the state of New York.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of environmental and energy laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
