A rapidly expanding personal injury law firm with offices across Georgia, Florida, and Tennessee is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with 6+ years of experience to join their Georgia-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, client-focused attorney with a passion for personal injury law. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing multiple caseloads and providing exceptional legal representation to clients in personal injury cases.

Duties:

• Case Evaluation: Evaluate the merits of personal injury claims by reviewing records, documents, and evidence. Assess the injury or damage and determine the potential value of the claim.
• Legal Representation: Represent clients in personal injury cases, including hearings, trials, and appeals. Prepare and file legal documents such as claims, appeals, and petitions.
• Legal Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to protect clients’ interests, including gathering evidence, conducting legal research, analyzing medical records, and consulting with medical professionals.
• Client Communication: Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, explain legal concepts, and answer questions regarding their rights, benefits, and legal options.
• Medical and Vocational Assessment: Work closely with medical and vocational experts to assess injuries and determine the appropriate level of compensation.
• Litigation: Represent clients in litigation for disputed or denied claims, preparing for hearings or trials, conducting discovery, presenting evidence, and advocating for clients.
• Case Management: Manage all aspects of cases, including organizing case files, tracking deadlines, coordinating with experts and medical providers, and performing administrative tasks.
• Adherence to Ethical Standards: Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and legal regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Admission to the Georgia State Bar (Required).
• Strong communication, negotiation, legal research, and writing skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases and deadlines.
• Knowledge of Georgia laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
• Client-focused with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Bar Certification in the State of Georgia (Required).

Skills:

• Expertise in personal injury law, including litigation and case management.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
