Duties

• Provide legal counsel in loan workouts, debt restructuring, and bankruptcy cases.
• Represent creditors in bankruptcy proceedings and other related legal matters.
• Prepare and review legal documents, including agreements, pleadings, and legal memoranda.
• Communicate effectively with clients to address their needs and provide updates on case progress.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
• Actively participate in business development efforts to expand the firm’s client base.
• Stay informed about industry trends, laws, and regulations relevant to the firm’s practice areas.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for clients while maintaining high ethical standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in loan workouts, bankruptcy, creditors' rights, or related areas.
• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (Ohio or West Virginia Bar admission is a plus).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, detail-oriented legal services.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in Pennsylvania (additional state bar memberships are a plus).
