Job Overview:
A well-established law firm with a national footprint is seeking a junior associate attorney to join its Financial Services practice in Charlotte. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience in commercial lending, with exposure to syndicated credit facilities and leveraged finance transactions. This role is best suited for a collaborative and driven attorney who values professional development in an in-office environment.

Location:

• Charlotte, North Carolina

Duties:

• Support a broad range of commercial lending and finance transactions

• Review, draft, and negotiate loan documents and related agreements

• Advise clients on syndicated credit facilities and leveraged finance structures

• Coordinate transaction execution with lenders, borrowers, and internal teams

• Maintain awareness of developments in banking and finance law to support client needs

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience in commercial lending or financial services law

• Familiarity with syndicated credit arrangements and leveraged finance deals

• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to in-office engagement

• Ability to manage multiple matters with precision and professionalism

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the North Carolina State Bar preferred

Skills:

• Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment
