A law firm in Albany is seeking a Health Care Transactional and Corporate Associate Attorney with 3+ years of relevant experience, including corporate and M&A transactional work with exposure to clients in the healthcare industry. The successful candidate will represent sophisticated corporate clients operating in the healthcare sector, handling a wide range of general corporate and transactional matters. Strong relationship management, communication, and negotiating skills are essential. While not a requirement, a portable and growing book of business will be favorably regarded.

Duties:

• Represent sophisticated corporate clients in the health care industry.
• Handle a variety of general corporate and transactional matters.
• Support and enhance the firm's robust health care practice.
• Provide legal advice and support on corporate governance matters.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other transactional documents.
• Conduct due diligence reviews for corporate transactions.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm's platform.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in corporate and M&A transactional work.
• Exposure to clients in the health care industry is preferred.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar in the jurisdiction of practice.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated negotiating skills.
• Portable and growing book of business is favorably regarded.
