A law firm seeks a Healthcare Regulatory Attorney in Los Angeles, CA. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape a practice within the Healthcare & Insurance Division, providing transactional and regulatory counsel to healthcare providers, health plans, and pharmaceutical and medical device companies. The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of relevant experience and possess strong academic credentials and exceptional skills in research, writing, analysis, organization, leadership, and communication.

Duties

• Advise clients on healthcare fraud, abuse, and compliance, including Stark Law and anti-kickback statutes.
• Advocate for clients on Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement issues.
• Guide health plans on compliance with state and federal laws.
• Advise on corporate practice of medicine and management service organizations.
• Conduct transactional due diligence for M&A and financing transactions.

Requirements

• Minimum of seven years of relevant experience.
• Active license in the applicable jurisdiction or ability to waive into practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in good standing.
