A law firm seeks an experienced Government and Public Law Attorney to join its team, specializing in governmental litigation and public law. This role is based in San Antonio and offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of municipal and governmental matters, providing high-quality, client-centered legal services.

Duties

• Represent clients in municipal law and litigation, including land use, zoning, and real estate matters.
• Provide legal counsel in areas related to government contracts, condemnation, governance, construction, and code enforcement.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts and zoning agreements.
• Negotiate on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes in governmental and public law matters.
• Conduct research, prepare case strategies, and present cases effectively in court.
• Maintain strong client relationships by offering dedicated and responsive legal support.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in governmental or public law litigation.
• Strong background in municipal law, real estate, land use, zoning, and related practice areas.
• Demonstrated analytical and negotiation skills, with a client-focused approach to legal services.
• Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Texas State Bar License (Required).
