A respected law firm specializing in labor and employment law is seeking a motivated entry-level Associate Attorney to join its plaintiff-side litigation team. The selected candidate will support clients in matters related to workplace discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage violations. Conduct client intake interviews and assess legal claims
Draft litigation documents including court filings and administrative charges
Represent clients at agency and court hearings, and mediations
Negotiate settlements and communicate with opposing counsel
Manage assigned litigation cases under partner supervision
Conduct legal research and write supporting memoranda
Track deadlines and maintain detailed case records
Participate in client development activities as needed
Must have taken the Bar Exam and earned a UBE score of 270 or higher
Recent exam takers awaiting results may be considered if law school GPA is 3.5+
Bar admission in New York or a New England state preferred (or willingness to apply)
Residency or relocation plan to an eligible state is required
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for occasional travel
Ability to maintain a private, professional home workspace
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
UBE score of at least 270 required
Active Bar admission preferred
Strong legal writing and persuasive communication
Solid research and analytical abilities
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
Capable of managing long-term projects and multitasking under pressure
Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
Positive mindset, collaborative nature, and commitment to high-quality work
Interest in employment law and advocacy for employee rights
Familiarity with federal and state employment laws (preferred, not required)
