Job Overview:

The Worker's Compensation Associate Attorney will handle a caseload of workers' compensation matters, including litigation and administrative hearings. They will work closely with clients, conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and represent clients in court proceedings.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of workers' compensation cases from inception to resolution
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and other proceedings
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the cases
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members on case strategy and management
• Stay current on developments in workers' compensation law and related areas

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-Approved Law School
• Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia
• Strong writing and speaking skills
• Proven ability to manage complex cases
• Outstanding analytical skills
• Ability to conduct depositions and manage discovery
• Passion for workers' compensation litigation

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-Approved Law School

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia
