Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Corporate Latin America practice in San Francisco, CA. This role involves handling sophisticated Latin American and U.S. transactions, along with a variety of general corporate matters.

Duties

• Represent emerging companies, venture capital, and private equity investors.
• Engage in venture capital financings, growth equity, and private equity investments.
• Participate in public offerings, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Advise on high-profile cross-border transactions.

Requirements

• JD (2020-2021) or LLM degree preferred.
• Corporate transactional experience required.
• Prior large law firm experience preferred; U.S. "white shoe" law firm experience is a plus.
• Experience with M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions.
• Experience advising on Latin American transactions strongly preferred.
• Admission to the New York and/or California Bar required.
• Spanish working proficiency required.

Education

• JD or LLM degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York and/or California Bar.

Skills
