Draft and review estate planning documents, including:
Wills
Revocable trusts
Durable powers of attorney
Health care proxies and HIPAA releases
Provide comprehensive legal counsel on estate, tax, and asset protection planning
Develop and implement income, gift, and estate tax minimization strategies
Form and administer various types of trusts, including:
Life insurance trusts
Charitable trusts
Irrevocable and special needs trusts
Establish and maintain limited liability companies (LLCs) for asset protection
Advise on Massachusetts and federal estate tax compliance and administration
Present at educational events, including seminars, webinars, and workshops
Collaborate with care coordinators and benefits specialists on long-term care planning
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and their financial advisors
Experience in estate planning; elder law experience preferred
Experience in trust and estate administration, asset protection, and tax strategy
Ability to manage complex client matters independently
Strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to exceptional client service
Interest in leadership and business development, including potential firm growth initiatives
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
Active and good-standing member of the Massachusetts Bar
New York admission acceptable with willingness to obtain Massachusetts Bar license
Proficient in drafting sophisticated estate and trust documents
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to present legal concepts in a clear and client-friendly manner
Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., care coordinators, tax professionals)
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to lead and grow a legal practice
