Intake Law Clerk, Spring 2020
The clerk will work with the lead attorney and paralegals to analyze issues that arise on a daily basis. Will screen low income clients for eligibility for legal aid services, provide legal information to clients under the supervision of a lawyer, research consumer fraud issues, and may prepare legal documents. Will gain vast experience in issue spotting, interviewing potential clients, communicating legal information to non-lawyers, communicating the client’s story to staff attorneys, and analyzing documents, all under the supervision of a directing attorney.
