Duties:

• Support senior attorneys in day-to-day litigation tasks.
• Collaborate with clients to assess legal issues, develop strategies, and provide counsel.
• Ensure clients comply with federal, state, and local legal obligations.
• Gather, review, and manage evidence; ensure proper documentation and production of relevant materials.
• Conduct interviews with witnesses and perform site visits as needed.
• Draft formal communications, including correspondence to clients and opposing parties.
• Prepare and file pleadings, motions, and other court-related documents.
• Serve and respond to written discovery requests.
• Assist with the preparation of expert reports and documents.
• Take and defend depositions, including expert and percipient witnesses.
• Represent clients in court proceedings across municipal, state, and federal courts.
• Participate in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes, both before and during litigation.
• Contribute to trial preparation efforts and courtroom presentations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Nevada.
• Strong interest in litigation and legal strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Nevada State Bar License required.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex legal matters to clients and colleagues.
• Experience with legal drafting, including pleadings and discovery documents.
• Familiarity with deposition and courtroom procedures.
