Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified associate or of counsel to join its structured transactions practice group in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate and/or finance transactions, with a preference for those with a background in structured finance and securitization.

Duties

• Engage in complex structured finance transactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on securitization projects.
• Advise clients on RMBS, ABS, and CLO matters.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents.

Requirements

• Experience in corporate or finance transactions.
• Background in structured finance and securitization preferred.
• RMBS/ABS/CLO experience highly preferred.
• Active bar membership in the state of practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
