Job Overview
A law firm seeks a full-time partner-level candidate with corporate transactional experience to join its Philadelphia office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate transactions, including equity structuring, general commercial transactions, private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and joint ventures.
Duties
- Lead and manage corporate transactions and related legal matters.
- Advise clients on equity structuring and private equity investments.
- Oversee mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures.
- Provide guidance on corporate governance issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of eight years of experience in corporate transactions.
- Bar membership in Pennsylvania is required.
- Portable book of business with strong cash flow is mandatory.
- Bar membership in NJ, NY, or DE is a plus.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Active bar membership in Pennsylvania.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of securities, tax, healthcare, and executive compensation is a plus.
- Excellent leadership and client management skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex transactions.
