Duties

• Manage a diverse caseload of plaintiff-side litigation matters

• Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial

• Represent clients effectively before courts and juries

• Conduct legal research and draft persuasive memoranda, motions, and briefs

• Engage in settlement negotiations and mediations

• Collaborate with a close-knit legal team and support staff to ensure client-focused advocacy

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in Wisconsin

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in personal injury or similar plaintiff/defense litigation

• Prior courtroom and trial exposure preferred

• Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines, prioritize workload, and handle cases independently

• Strong commitment to client service and ethical legal practice

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

• Admission to the Wisconsin State Bar (required)

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• Proficiency in legal research and analysis

• Familiarity with legal practice management software and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, legal AI platforms)

• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and organizational skills
