Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney with over three years of experience to manage family law and civil litigation cases in Champaign, Illinois. This hybrid role offers remote work flexibility with in-person court appearances required 2-3 times per week.

Duties

• Handle a caseload of family law and/or civil litigation matters.
• Attend court hearings in Central Illinois approximately 2-3 times per week.
• Manage cases with support from paralegals and senior attorneys.
• Gradually take on more independence as you grow in the role.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in family law and/or civil litigation.
• Licensed in Illinois or pending admission.
• Comfortable handling cases with guidance and growing into independence.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
