Location:

Duties:

• Handle complex matters related to private credit, acquisition finance, and leveraged finance.
• Advise and represent clients, including arrangers and direct lenders, in banking and finance transactions.
• Draft and review loan agreements, credit agreements, and other financial documents.
• Provide legal guidance throughout the negotiation and closing processes.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and clients to develop strategies for high-stakes transactions.
• Collaborate with other departments within the firm on cross-practice matters.
• Maintain client relationships and provide ongoing support for finance-related legal issues.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in private credit, acquisition finance, or leveraged finance.
• Strong background in banking law and finance transactions.
• Experience working with arrangers and direct lenders.
• Ability to manage complex transactions and deliver results under tight deadlines.
• Licensed to practice law in the relevant state or jurisdiction.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state where the associate will be located.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of banking, private credit, acquisition finance, and leveraged finance.
• Proficient in drafting financial documents and agreements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
