This role is ideal for a senior-level legal professional with extensive knowledge of tax credit transactions, particularly in historic and renewable energy tax credits. Duties

• Lead or assist in structuring tax credit transactions, ensuring compliance with financial and legal standards.
• Analyze financial projections to support transaction planning and implementation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate tax equity and loan documentation, legal opinions, and agreements.
• Conduct due diligence to assess project feasibility and risk factors.
• Manage projects from initiation through closing, maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7+ years of relevant legal experience within a law firm environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in historic and renewable energy tax credits.
• Proficiency in managing all facets of tax credit transactions.
• Strong project management and negotiation skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a nationally recognized and accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, preferably Ohio, or eligible for admission.
