A reputable law firm located in Oak Park, IL, is seeking a proactive and skilled Associate Intake Attorney to join its expanding immigration practice. This position is ideal for a motivated legal professional with a strong background in immigration law who thrives in a client-focused, fast-paced environment. The role offers an opportunity to collaborate closely with a dynamic legal team while overseeing intake operations and supporting client case development from the outset.

Duties:

• Monitor and manage active leads and inquiries via the firm’s case management platform

• Evaluate intake forms and submitted documents from potential clients

• Analyze eligibility for various forms of immigration relief and identify viable legal options

• Recommend legal services and strategies tailored to individual client needs

• Engage with current clients regarding services not covered in existing agreements

• Respond to legal inquiries and clarify immigration procedures for potential and current clients

• Coordinate with the intake and sales teams to ensure a seamless client experience

• Supervise and provide direction to intake paralegals and remote support personnel

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of dedicated experience in immigration law

• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases simultaneously

• Strong collaboration skills and a solution-oriented mindset

• Excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities

• Proficiency in immigration case types, including Family-Based Petitions, EOIR matters, Humanitarian relief, Detained cases, Citizenship applications, and USCIS filings

• Familiarity with legal case management tools (preferred)

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred but not mandatory)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Certifications:

• State Bar admission in good standing
