Duties

  • Manage a caseload of premises liability claims from inception through resolution.
  • Investigate liability facts, including property owner duties and hazard identification.
  • Collaborate with experts in accident reconstruction and safety.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and settlement demands.
  • Negotiate settlements with defense counsel and insurance carriers.
  • Conduct depositions and assist in trial preparation.
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and strategy.
  • Stay informed on Texas premises liability law and property safety standards.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in Texas.
  • 3-7 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury and premises liability.
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience in settlement negotiations and trial advocacy.
  • Commitment to client service and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Bonus: Prior trial verdict experience in Texas and familiarity with premises liability statutes.

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.)
