Business Development Coordinator
The candidate will manage BD activities calendar and related tracking documents. Support RFPs responses, pitches, marketing materials, and presentations:. Identify applicable content and edit content to customize work product. Coordinate production and delivery of the finished documents. Work cross-functionally to gather information for BD-related requests. Maintain tracking document with critical dates and outcomes. Capture relevant information from deal reports and pitches. Develop practice and industry submissions for directories, databases, and other publications as needed. Perform competitive intelligence and market research as needed. Stay abreast of current developments and trends impacting practice groups, clients, and prospects. Collaborate with the Director of Business Development and Practice Team leaders in planning and budgeting practice initiatives, including the annual coordination and preparation of the practice and industry budgets and plans. Oversee development and management of collateral materials, including relevant website sections, blogs, and social media. Support or lead the event planning efforts for practice and industry teams. Events may include seminars, webinars, conferences, and client events. Coordination includes securing the venue, managing A/V, catering, and post-event follow-up. Must have 2+ years experience in a professional services environment with relevant marketing experience. Bachelor’s degree. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent proofreading ability. Superior analytical and research skills are essential. Outstanding attention to detail. Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Smartsheet and CRM software is desired. Possess strong problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills. Experience with website maintenance, marketing communications, and event management. Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work successfully with senior leaders, attorneys, staff, and vendors.
