The candidate will support Legal Department staff and day to day functions. Maintain records of ongoing Legal Department matters. Interact with internal and external clients of the Legal Department. Prepare and review written correspondence. Maintain organization of all electronic records on iManage. Prepare and review routine consulting agreements. Review planned gifts and estate agreements. Perform routine and complex research projects. Manage government filings related to fundraising activities and lobbying. Co-manage the accreditation process for 200+ worldwide Special Olympics programs. Maintain record books of Board of Directors and Board Committees. Provide administrative and logistical support to the Nominating Committee. Provide administrative and logistical support to the Diversity and Inclusion Task Force. Review and update internal organizational policies and forms. Co-manage Legal Department interns and externs. Work with external organizations to hire diverse Legal interns, fellows, and externs. Work with Special Olympics leadership and regional offices to increase the number of Special Olympics athletes employed worldwide. Provide support on all litigation matters. Support all risk management and insurance-related matters.
