Legal Assistant III

The candidate provides administrative and other organizational-related support functions for the CV Legal team consisting of lawyers and paralegals. Assists in the preparation of legal documents from a variety of sources including drafts, memos and other guidance documents. Assists the legal team to prepare accurate and timely presentations, reports, legal advice, matter files, and other documents. Organizes and oversees legal files and materials so that they are easily accessed and retrieved without compromising the confidentiality or privacy of the information they contain. Provides administrative assistance to lawyers and other legal professionals as required, including scheduling, communications, travel, budgets and related responsibilities. A High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years legal assistance experience is needed. Experience working with attorneys, paralegals, and business clients are preferred. Flexibility, adaptability, pragmatism, responsiveness and collegiality is needed. Integrity and strong ethical center is needed. Should be capable of inspiring trust and confidence of client groups. Should have the ability to work independently and proactively. Detail oriented thinking is needed. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
