Duties

• Manage complex transactions involving the financing and M&A of energy transition projects.
• Oversee tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to project finance and energy transactions.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients on financing matters in the energy transition space.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to execute high-value transactions.
• Lead and support innovative energy transition and infrastructure financing projects across multiple jurisdictions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in energy transition finance matters.
• Proven experience handling transactions in financing and M&A of energy transition projects.
• Experience with tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization matters.
• Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and client management skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in the jurisdiction where the candidate is applying.
