Estate Settlement Team Lead
The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the most complex and largest estate settlement relationships of the estate settlement team. Work with other **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. partners to retain estate client base by working with the client service team and partnering with internal and external service providers to optimize effectiveness and efficiency in achieving the highest client service standards. Responsible for oversight of all estate administration including communication with multiple beneficiaries, communication with outside advisors, and other internal partners. Maintains awareness of new estate planning and trust strategies, techniques and products through regular contact with other industry professionals and through internal and external research. Develop technical and communication skills of Estate Settlement Team through mentoring and training programs. Ensure that all activities reflect the intentions of each estate and that strategies are appropriate to accomplish those objectives. Recommend and Coordinate activities to drive efficiency between front and middle office, Tax Department and Unique Assets. Lead estate settlement projects. Stay informed of market trends and analyzes the effect of these trends on estate investment philosophy. Stay current on the legal and tax issues with respect to trusts and estates by consulting attorneys, accountants and other resources as needed. Build effective partnerships internally and externally. Responsible for building internal and external visibility for the bank's estate services through educational training sessions and thought leadership. Ensure that the team develops satisfied clients through frequent contact and delivers on established service standards. Seek continuous improvement in level of talent of estate team to ensure that objectives of the organization are met. Build effective partnerships internally and externally. Participate in determining appropriate risk and compliance metrics and key risk indicators. Ensure consistency in the application of policy and procedures across the footprint. Ensure all estate team members are operating within established guidelines including adherence to policies and procedures, compliance activities and strategies. Ensure that all established policies and procedures are adhered to. Remains aware of any changes in the areas of risk management and compliance that would result in a necessary change in policy. Ensure Compliance and Audit requirements for entire estate organization.
