Adjunct, School of Law
The candidate will be organizing the course, including selecting teaching materials and preparing a course syllabus; planning and presenting assigned material during the regularly scheduled course hours. Engaging students in and out of the classroom to ensure student learning; establishing rigorous assessment standards and making the standards and learning outcomes known to students. Grading examinations and papers consistent with the law school’s Grade Normalization Policy and submitting grades in a timely fashion. Adjunct faculty are expected to be available to students outside the classroom during the semester and after grades are released. J.D. or other comparable terminal degree is required. Should preferably have relevant legal experience, previous teaching experience.
