Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a Litigation Attorney to assist with its civil litigation practices. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of general civil litigation in both federal and state courts, with at least 2 years of previous experience in civil litigation, including discovery, ADR, and trial. The candidate must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in Arizona, with a heavy preference for attorneys barred in multiple jurisdictions. Responsibilities include drafting litigation pleadings, engaging in trial support, and demonstrating extreme attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Assist with the civil litigation practices of the business law firm.
• Draft litigation pleadings, including complaints, answers, and motions.
• Provide trial support, including discovery requests and depositions.
• Demonstrate extreme attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prioritize and meet deadlines effectively.
• Display the highest level of ethical conduct and integrity.
• Be a team player and supportive of colleagues.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Arizona.
• Heavy preference for attorneys barred in multiple jurisdictions.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to practice law in Arizona.
