We currently have the following vacancy to join our Wills, Probate, Tax & Trusts team
, based in Reading
, with hybrid working.
Court of Protection Solicitor (Minimum 2 years’ PQE)
We are looking to hire a solicitor to join our Wills, Probate, Tax and Trusts team with a focus on Court of Protection work.
You will work on an interesting and varied caseload from day one, which will expand your knowledge and offer a genuine opportunity to develop which will be fully supported by the firm. The department is very busy but we are a close knit team and very supportive of each other.

Key responsibilities include:
Managing an agreed caseload of clients in conjunction with the senior solicitors and Department Manager
Processing clients’ cases on a timely and cost effective basis
Maintaining the highest professional standards in accordance with the firm’s objectives and comply with the firm’s quality standards
Keeping clients fully informed of the range of services that the firm offers
Supervising junior staff, particularly trainees, from time to time
The successful candidate will:
Have at least a 2.1 degree
Have a minimum of 2 years’ PQE
Have completed training at a recognised and respected firm
Be enthusiastic and hard working
Have good written and verbal communication skills
Be a team player and reputable
