Duties:

• Represent clients in complex civil litigation matters before state and federal courts in Virginia

• Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal briefs with precision and strategic focus

• Conduct legal research, draft memoranda, and advise clients on litigation strategies

• Engage in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials

• Coordinate case strategy and collaborate with other attorneys and staff

• Manage case timelines, deadlines, and client communications efficiently

• Participate in firm-supported business development and networking initiatives

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of substantive experience in civil litigation in Virginia

• Admission to the Virginia State Bar, in good standing

• Demonstrated ability to manage litigation matters independently

• Experience handling cases in both Virginia state and federal courts

• Strong oral advocacy and persuasive legal writing capabilities

• Exceptional organizational habits and attention to detail

• Client-focused attitude and professional interpersonal style

• Willingness to contribute to team-based legal service delivery

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and valid license to practice law in Virginia
