Job Duties:

• Manage global patent prosecution and portfolio management for clients across diverse industries.
• Conduct freedom to operate and patent clearance analyses to assess potential legal risks.
• Draft, review, and negotiate licensing agreements and other technology transactions.
• Provide legal counsel and due diligence support for merger and acquisition activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop effective legal strategies.

Requirements:

• Registered with the USPTO.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-14 years of experience in Intellectual Property law.
• Excellent academic record.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Superior judgment and the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.

Certifications:

• Active Bar license in Rhode Island.
