This role involves managing a diverse range of legal matters, including commercial and residential foreclosures, bankruptcies, lender liability defense, commercial collections, and related cases. The ideal candidate will work from the firm's New York City office (Midtown East) with opportunities for flexible remote work.

Duties:

• Handle cases related to commercial and residential foreclosures.
• Manage bankruptcy matters and lender liability defense.
• Conduct commercial collections and negotiate workouts.
• Provide clients with legal advice and strategic guidance.
• Draft and review legal documents and pleadings.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm.
• Conduct research and analysis on relevant legal matters.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of experience in commercial litigation and creditors' rights.
• Licensed attorney in the state of New York.
• Proficient in legal research and negotiation.
• Ability to handle a range of complex legal matters independently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of New York.

Certifications:

• New York State Bar Admission (active and in good standing).

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
