Mid-Level Associate - Litigation Product Liability

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate with strong legal writing skills in the area of pharmaceutical/medical device Daubert/Rule 702 motions practice to join its Litigation group in Palo Alto, CA. This position is open to candidates in any of the firm's U.S. offices.

Duties

• Communicate with clients effectively.
• Supervise junior associates.
• Collaborate with experts in the field.
• Assist with fact development and depositions.
• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
• Help develop case strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Extensive experience writing briefs, including Rule 702 and Daubert issues.
• Experience with products liability litigation.
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is a plus.

Education

• JD from a nationally recognized school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application.
• Candidates licensed to practice law in New York are encouraged to apply.
