Duties

• Defend and take depositions.
• Draft meet and confer letters regarding discovery issues.
• Argue motions and draft discovery and dispositive motions.
• Conduct arbitrations and prepare for mediations.
• Prepare cases for trial and perform in-depth legal research.
• Communicate with outside parties, including attorneys and administrative agencies.
• Manage all aspects of cases, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Aid in the expansion of the firm's California practice.

Requirements

• Minimum 4-9 years of relevant legal experience.
• Substantial experience in litigating and managing complex cases.
• Expertise in wage and hour law.
• Proficiency in all stages of the litigation process.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Licensed to practice law in Washington State.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) required.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Washington State.
