Duties

• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and oppositions.
• Conduct discovery, depositions, and mediations.
• Prepare for trial and manage trial-related tasks.
• Communicate with clients and answer phones.
• Collaborate with outside vendors for filing and service.
• Input data into legal software.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an attorney.
• Ability to negotiate settlements effectively.
• Experience with law and motion, and trial preparation.
• Familiarity with the Code of Civil Procedure and local court rules.
• Experience with MyCase software preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) required.

Certifications

• Valid Bar license required.

Skills

• Excellent writing and organizational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team setting.
• Strong negotiation and people skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
