A law firm is seeking a Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney for their New York City, NY office. The Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney will be responsible for handling commercial litigation matters with a focus on the commercial division. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pleading, motion practice, and discovery, with some transactional experience being highly preferred.

Duties:

• Handle commercial litigation matters in the commercial division
• Conduct pleadings, motion practice, and discovery
• Utilize transactional experience as needed
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and preparation
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and case law in commercial litigation

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Bar in New York
• 5-8 years of experience in commercial litigation
• Extensive experience in pleading, motion practice, and discovery
• Some transactional experience preferred

Education:
