Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Intake Attorney in Arizona to join their Case Control Center. This role involves engaging with prospective clients, providing legal guidance, and evaluating potential cases. The position requires regular in-office attendance at one of the firm's Arizona locations: Chandler, Mesa, Peoria, Phoenix, or Tucson.

Duties

• Speak directly with prospective clients to explain the legal process and help them make informed decisions.
• Establish credibility and trust quickly through legal knowledge and professionalism.
• Follow up on pending calls and unsigned retainers, ensuring timely communication.
• Coordinate with Contact Center leadership and attorneys for efficient case onboarding.
• Document all conversations and case assessments accurately in the intake system.
• Partner with the Under Review team to evaluate the initial merits of potential cases.
• Review police reports and other materials to inform case assessments.
• Exercise independent legal judgment for real-time case acceptance decisions.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active member of a state Bar in good standing.
• 1+ years experience managing a high-volume caseload or intake pipeline.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Litify, or similar platforms preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish is a strong plus.
