  • Communicate directly with insurance adjusters, claims supervisors, opposing attorneys, body shops, tow yards, and clients via telephone and written correspondence.

  • Execute settlements within delegated authority, secure necessary releases, and verify client satisfaction before closing matters.

  • Maintain complete and accurate records in case management software, documenting all contacts, investigative steps, negotiations, and evidentiary materials.

  • Adhere strictly to professional and ethical standards, including the Rules of Professional Conduct.

Requirements

  • Admission to both the Mississippi and Alabama Bars in good standing.

  • Residency in Mississippi or Alabama and willingness to travel to Rock Hill, SC, as needed.

  • Proven ability to manage high-volume caseloads with thorough attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, internet research, and case management systems.

  • Demonstrated negotiation skills in lien disputes and property damage matters.

  • Litigation aptitude, including familiarity with drafting pleadings, taking and defending depositions, and attending hearings or arbitrations.

  • Capacity to analyze assignments rapidly, interpret a variety of legal/financial considerations, and propose effective resolutions.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to correspond with diverse stakeholders and present complex issues clearly.

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently within a collaborative team environment.
