Climate and Energy Fellowship
The candidate will serve in residence at the Law School, engaging in the intellectual life of the ENRLP Program, and will be strongly encouraged to become an active participant in the University’s larger environmental and energy community, where there are many untapped opportunities for collaboration and interdisciplinary work. Will engage in research and analysis with a goal toward affecting policymaking and, under the supervision of Law School Professor Deborah Sivas, will work with law students interested in climate and energy policy. Will be developing and carrying out independent applied policy work, the fellow will work closely with faculty, staff, and students in the Environmental Law Clinic (ELC) and the Law School’s unique Law and Policy Lab to develop and pursue climate and energy projects. Established in 1997, the ELC is one of eleven clinics comprising the Mills Legal Clinic and works on environmental, natural resource, and energy matters representing non-profit conservation organizations and institutions. The Law and Policy Lab is Stanford’s unique policy incubator aimed at finding solutions to some of our most pressing issues. No teaching experience is required, but a willingness to work with students on projects is essential.
