Job Overview:

A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join its team. This role involves handling complex insurance claims and offering legal advice on a variety of insurance coverage matters. The ideal candidate will have significant litigation experience and a strong commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Duties:

• Represent clients in state and federal court for insurance-related cases.
• Draft legal pleadings, motions, and other necessary documents.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Manage all aspects of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and court appearances.
• Advise clients on insurance policy issues, coverage disputes, and related matters.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies.
• Assist in mentoring junior associates and contributing to the firm’s intellectual culture.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-6 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance or construction-related matters.
• Proven experience with drafting pleadings, motion practice, and managing complex cases.
• Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
• A high degree of personal responsibility and a solid work ethic.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active State Bar license.

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience with litigation software and case management systems.
• Client relationship management.
