Responsibilities

• Advise clients on state and local tax issues, including personal income, corporate income/franchise, sales and use, gross receipts, property tax, and unclaimed property.
• Provide strategic tax planning for multistate operations.
• Represent clients in audits, administrative appeals, and litigations before state and local tax authorities and courts.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop associates within the State & Local Tax practice group.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to business development efforts.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other practice areas to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
