Payroll Accounting Specialist
The candidate will reconcile of timecards and PTO for payroll processing. Paycheck sorting and distribute. Prepare of checks. Manage the payroll inbox. Process payroll changes in ADP. Bi-weekly batch creation. Liaise with the accounting team for bi-weekly payroll reconciliations. Assist with opening new states for workers comp/unemployment/withholding taxes. Assist with updating ADP with new SUI tax rates. Assist with resolving issues with multiple state tax jurisdictions. Assist with audits for payroll and accounting team processing. Assist with end of year employee tax document distribution. Assist with ad hoc responsibilities as needed. Bachelor’s Degree is required. Should preferably have 1+ years of HR/Payroll experience.
