Job Overview:

The Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney will provide legal support in various litigation matters, including conducting legal research, drafting documents, assisting with trial preparation, and collaborating with senior attorneys to develop case strategies.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various cases and issues
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Assist with trial preparation and participate in court proceedings
• Conduct client interviews and gather relevant information
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
• Review and analyze legal documents, contracts, and agreements
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as a Litigation Associate or similar role
• Strong knowledge of legal principles, procedures, and practices
• Proficient in conducting legal research using Westlaw
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents
• Experience in negotiating settlements and litigating cases in court
• Familiarity with case management software and document management systems
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Education and Certifications:
